A Crash Course on Friendship

Now more than ever our country needs great leaders who are understand the value of friendship. Each session of this seminar includes an informative talk and an engaging group activity. This seminar will help you learn, understand, and practice they key skills (communication, etiquette, etc.) and virtues that foster successful and long-lasting friendship.

Navigating the Digital Age

This seminar will help you thrive in our complex and confusing digital age. You will learn how to distinguish truth from falsehood, good from evil, and beauty from ugliness. There will also be practical classes on the academic and intellectual skills needed to thrive at high school and beyond.

College, Career, & Beyond

To help guide you in your choice of a professional career, guest speakers from a variety of fields—including medicine, business, media, and law—will give presentations on their professions. These presentations will also highlight how professional excellence can enable you to have a positive impact on culture and the world around you. Students will prepare for the college application process and work to develop intellectual and professional interests that will serve as the foundation for their careers.

CURRICULUM | Seniors

Philosophy Seminar

The philosophy seminar will be taught by Dr. Dale Parker, a member of the teaching faculty at Thomas Aquinas College. Dr. Parker will enable the seniors to engage with today’s most common intellectual challenges to traditional philosophy and faith. Students will critically examine ideas such as hedonism, moral relativism, scientism, and skepticism through the lens of classical philosophical reasoning. By rediscovering the perennial principles of truth, nature, and human dignity, students will develop the confidence and clarity to refute contemporary errors and build a foundation for a coherent, integrated worldview.
